A recent survey shows that these programs are now widely available and well received among students. Many students choose micro-majors because they offer practical training and clear links to industry, and see them as a way to build skills, explore interests, and expand career options. Meanwhile, students expect further improvements in course depth, teaching quality, and scheduling as micro-majors continue to develop.
